Festival Asalto in collaboration with the Zaragoza City Council and with the intention to promote the artistic creation in the public space launches this Open Call to receive projects to be created and exposed in the Zaragoza downtown.

We are looking for projects of any artistic or creative profile that impact on public space as a place of encounter, dialogue or interaction with the city and its inhabitants. Projects that break the routine of the city or encourage the participation of citizens at the same time that help to improve the immediate environment in which they take place due to its visual impact or mobilizing or regenerative capacity.

Festival Asalto proposes some thematic lines where contextualize the different proposals:

• 2D interventions: muralism, big facades decoration, ground, walls…using any technique (graffiti, drawing, lettering, stencil, anamorphosis …)
• 3D artistic or creative installations in the public space (squares, streets, walls, empty plots…)
• Installations in abandoned spaces (locals)
• New technologies: videomapping, Interactive installations, audio experiences…
• Workshops to promote artistic creation in a participatory and collaborative way.

From these points or any other field of creation, Festival Asalto seeks innovative projects that encourage artistic and creative development of its promotors, enabling them to carry out ambitious ideas, always with the public space as a stage.
